LIFE'S MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION

The most important question in life, has nothing to do with money, fame, or fortune, but with your eternal destiny. It matters not where you attend church, what society or lodge you may be a member of, how good a life you have lived, or what religion you ascribe to. Only you can make the choice of where you will spend eternity.

GOD BLESS AMERICA

These words have been sung over and over again since 9/11. They have been the cry of many Americans all across the country. People who never even think about God in their daily lives have suddenly chimed in with their fellow citizens in a cry to God to Bless America. I am caused to wonder; "Do people even know what they are asking?

THIS IS CHRISTIANITY

Being a member of or attending a Baptist church, a Catholic church, a Presbyterian church, a Methodist church, (and I could list all of the hundreds of denominations who claim to preach the Christian faith) doesn't make one a Christian. When you die and stand before God, He's not going to ask you what denomination you were a member of.

With the economical outlook more bleak in the past few weeks, the price of gas continuing to remain high, homes in foreclosure or close to it, and the world crazily and madly trying to fix its many problems it is easy for people to become discouraged, depressed, and worried about the future, which of course, is to be expected.

CO-WORKERS ARE PEOPLE TOO

One important thing to remember is what has been called "the Golden Rule" - Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That applies to all of us whether we are a janitor, a secretary, a manager, or a CEO, the way we treat others will affect not only our own lives, but the lives of many people. It kind of has a "trickle-down" effect.
